Lesley holds a BA Hon. Degree in Art & Design, and, a Postgraduate Certificate of Education from the University of Loughborough, UK. Lesley moved on from Teaching after a few years to studying Law and qualified as a Legal Executive trained at the highly reputed Lee & Pembertons Solicitors, Knightsbridge London. Since 2004 she has worked as a research assistant at the ISR Laboratory including on the analysis of socio-ethical guidelines that are to inform the requirements engineering process for internet-enabled systems. This is to ensure that the design of the ICT systems arising from our research remain fully compliant with the European directives for citizen’s privacy and rights protection.

Lesley has contributed to several projects in the areas of research methodology, socio-technical requirements elicitation and survey instruments design, research process audit, technical reporting, quality assurance, and, music technology. Lesley also supports the ISR project management, international collaborations and communications (particularly in French) as well as the financial administration of research projects.
