Rajkumar Raval completed his B.Eng. in Power Electronics in May 2000 with a distinction from L.E.College of Saurashtra University in India. Raj concluded his MSc by research in Computer Science in Oct 2007 from University College Dublin in Ireland. He joined ISR in Feb 2009 and is currently working as a Research staff member as well as pursuing a part-time PhD in the field of Computer Vision.
Raj has maintained a track record of academic and industrial research experience in hardware programming and design, including FPGA/ASICs –enabled intelligent systems; in particular hardware facilitated acceleration of pattern recognition processes to serve real-time adaptive intelligent systems.
Raj has academic and industrial experience in R&D with Indian, USA and European companies as well as in academic research centres involved in the fields of internet security, cryptography, parallel programming, intelligent-assistive systems architectures and rehabilitation engineering.
