Peter graduated with a first class degree in physics and subsequently obtained postgraduate research, teaching and learning qualifications supplemented with over 20 years of lecturing experience in higher education.  Peter’s research interest’s include mathematical modelling, agent behaviour analysis and multi-criterion optimisation, specification and design of cognitive systems, semiotics in cognitive engineering and technology-enhanced knowledge integration and e-learning.

Peter conducted his PhD research on “Pedagogical Knowledge-Sharing Environment For Novice Physics Teachers Based On Modelling Relationships Within Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK)”.   He concluded this research in 2005 with the award of a PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Leicester, UK.
