In 2009, Aurelien Ducournau received his MSc in Computer Science and Image Analysis with honors from Universite de Caen Basse-Normandie, France.
The diploma was validated by a 6-month research internship at the Signal and Image Processing Department, Telecom ParisTech, Paris, France.
Aurelien pursued his studies with a PhD in Computer Science, Signal, Image and Vision at the National Engineering School of Saint-Etienne, France, which was successfully completed in 2012 with highest distinction.
His research work mainly focused on Computer Vision, Image and Video Processing and Analysis, Image Segmentation, Graph/Hypergraph theory, Hypergraph Clustering and Partitioning, and combinatorial algorithms.
