Carlos Maximiliano Giorgio Bort graduated cum laude with a MSc in Mechatronic Engineering, at the University of Trento in 2010. He is currently at the 3rd year of his PhD in Engineering of Civil and Mechanical Structural Systems, and he is working on manufacturing processes. His main interests include: design and development of systems for process optimisation, systems characterisation, models identification, and augmented reality for manufacturing.

Max joined the ISR Video-analytics team for a six months internship, under the Joint Research Activity Programme of the European Centre for Video-Analytics Research (VideoSense). The topics covered in this period included camera calibration, tracking, and stereo reconstruction.
