Dr Aida Azadegan received her PhD degree in Information Systems Design from Manchester Business School UK, in 2010. Prior to her current position, Aida was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Nottingham Business School where she worked on European research projects including contributing to the GaLA Network of Excellence on Serious Games funded by the European Union under the FP7 programme; this involved 31 Partners from 14 EU Member States.

Aida has published extensively, in particular on the theme of Computer Supported Requirements Elicitation and Cooperative Working as facilitated by Serious Gaming. Aida has served on various Program Committees of International Conferences and as a reviewer of academic journal publications. Her current research interests include Facilitated Collaborations, Decision Support, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience and Serious and Persuasive Gaming.
